A small minority of CyberBass users
do experience technical problems. Unfortunately, I am not a
tech type, but rather an amateur chorister with an idea for a
website. In the past I have been able to solve the technical
problems that fellow singers have shared with me. With the
proliferation of web browsers and operating systems and changers in
internet standards I find myself unable to answer many problems.
If you have any suggestions for
solutions to the problems below, I will forward your solution to the
user. Please send your suggestions to
:
System is Vista.I click on the
part eg. "Bass".It will not play. A blue revolving circle shows
over the word "bass",and the whole
screen goes pale,like looking
through a thick fog!
Norton 360 shows,"doing a system
scan".
Also,a Microsoft
box appears saying "Int.Explorer is not responding",and "a
problem caused the program to stop interacting with Windows
Try
running it in Mozilla Firefox not Outlook Explorer. My Vista
computer does not have any problem like this. O E seems to be
plagued
with all sorts of issues that simply do not occur in Firefox.

Running Windows
Vista Home Premium with Internet Exp. Ver.8 on my Dell Inspiron
PC Laptop. No error messages or pop-ups.
The space above
"Movement -- Vocal" seems normal. Player Controls show speed 100
and Balance 0. When I click on any part, the word above the
Player changes quickly as follows:
Ready
Connecting...
Opening Media...
Ready
Nothing else
happens. If I click "play", it shows "Opening Media..." then
quickly "Ready".
Seems like the part
is not loading at all.

Once I start playing
a part of a section within a major work, I can't seem to stop it to
go to listening to another section of the same work, or to listen to
a part in another major work.
Example, I select
Handel's Dixit Dominus and select the alto part there. It plays. I
can pause, but the stop button doesn't work. If I now select another
section of the same work or even a completely different work (e.g.
Brahms Requiem) and select a section there to play the alto part
for, the Handel continues playing. If I have paused the Handel (as I
can't stop it) and undo the pause to play, the original Handel
section continues playing.
